SAPSKT is a Chilean DJ based in Berlin, playing reggaeton at its dirtiest and most physical. He mixes it rather than makes it, pulling perreo old and new toward the club rather than the radio, and plays these sets digital.

SAPSKT is a DJ from Chile, now based in Berlin.

He plays reggaeton at its most physical and least polite: perreo old and new, mixed rather than produced, and pulled toward the club rather than the radio. The selection leans dirty and keeps moving, built for rooms where people came to dance rather than to watch.

His other main curation is dark groove techno, and he treats the distance between the two as smaller than most people assume. The range is the point: the same instinct for a groove reads differently at 2am than it does at 6am, and the room decides which one gets played.

Reggaeton sets are digital, and he is comfortable on whatever mixer the booth happens to have.
